What is a Soulbound NFT credential?+
A Soulbound NFT is a blockchain credential that is permanently bound to the student — it cannot be transferred, sold, or faked. Once issued on Polygon Mainnet, it exists forever. Not even Bardox AI Limited can delete it.
How do employers verify a credential?+
Employers visit aexon.ai/verify.html, enter the student's token ID or wallet address, and receive instant blockchain confirmation. No account. No login. Free forever. The answer comes directly from Polygon — not from our servers.
How much does it cost to issue a credential?+
£5 per credential during our launch promotion (RRP £250). There are no subscriptions, no hidden fees, and no expiry. One payment — permanent record on the blockchain forever.
Which institutions can issue credentials?+
Any authorised institution — colleges, academies, awarding bodies, training providers. Each institution receives a unique API key after registration. Credentials issued without an authorised key cannot pass verification.
Can a student add the credential to LinkedIn?+
Yes — one click. The credential card has a ★ Add to LinkedIn Profile button that opens LinkedIn with the certification form pre-filled — qualification name, institution, issue date, credential ID, and verify URL. The student saves it and it appears permanently under Licences & Certifications.
What blockchain does Bardox use?+
Polygon Mainnet (Chain 137) — a fast, low-cost, environmentally efficient blockchain secured by thousands of global nodes. Our smart contract address is 0x1F4248EC...b6eb14 — publicly verifiable on PolygonScan.
Does the student need a crypto wallet?+
Not necessarily. The institution can hold the credential on behalf of the student. But students who want full ownership — so their credential is truly theirs forever — can set up a free wallet using MetaMask or Trust Wallet. We guide them through this at aexon.ai/student.html.
